Corton-Charlemagne: the Grand Cru that Charlemagne supposedly planted in white after his wife complained about the stains on his beard.
Whether or not the legend is true, Corton-Charlemagne remains one of Burgundy's most powerful white Grand Crus — Chardonnay grown at the top of the hill shared with Corton rouge, producing wines of enormous structure and longevity that are completely unlike the more delicate whites of Puligny and Chassagne. They take time, and they repay it. This corduroy cap is for the white Burgundy collector who respects the emperor's vineyard. 100% cotton corduroy, unstructured, adjustable buckle strap.
A white Burgundy wine enthusiast cap. Head circumference 20″–22″.
