Stereophonic Faster Blade
Snarling, sinuous. Blood orange and hot asphalt.

Producer
Denner Vineyard in the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles is one of the appellation's most distinctive sites — cooler, higher, and with the kind of mineral soils that produce wines very different from the warmer valley floor. The Faster Blade is Stereophonic's most unconventional wine and arguably their most compelling.

🌿 Garden
Stone primary — the mineral-strewn, rocky fruit character of this Carignane is driven entirely by Denner Vineyard's soil and site. This is a wine that tastes like somewhere specific and makes no attempt to taste like anywhere else. Garden secondary — whole cluster fermentation and the natural herbal, savory character of Carignane grown in a cool, windy site gives this wine an earthy complexity that sits firmly in Garden energy territory.
Tasting note
This Carignane tears apart polite winemaking norms. Blood orange, pomegranate, hot asphalt, and roasted rosemary aromas. Lots of tannin, lots of acidity, and lots of sticky, rocky fruit evolving from a wine with noble intensity uncommon in Paso Robles. 50% whole cluster, aged in used barriques.
