Larmandier Cramant Brut Zéro
Brut Zéro. Cramant Grand Cru. Limestone center stage.
ALLOCATION II
Dawn-Driven · Cramant · Brut Zéro
Producer
Guy Larmandier farms Grand Cru Chardonnay in Cramant, one of the finest villages of the Côte des Blancs. The Brut Zéro bottling is the most transparent expression of that terroir — no dosage, nothing added to soften what the limestone delivers.
🌅 Dawn· 🪨 Stone
Dawn primary — removing dosage entirely is a statement about craft: the wine must be complete without addition. The confidence required to release a Brut Zéro from Grand Cru Cramant reflects genuine mastery of the terroir. Stone secondary — without dosage to distract, Cramant's limestone dominates from first sip to last. This is arguably the most Stone-forward wine in the Champagne Room.
Tasting note
No dosage. Cramant Grand Cru Chardonnay. Total absence of sweetness allowing the limestone to take center stage in a more piercing, saline expression than in Larmandier's Brut wines. Not a difficult wine despite its austerity — this will appeal to those who relish limestone-driven Champagne at its most uncompromising.

From Chardonnay vines in the Grand Cru village of Cramant. The total absence of any sense of sweetness in this Brut Zéro allows the limestone to take center stage, and it presents in a more piercing and saline manner than in Larmandier's Brut wines. Despite its relative rigorousness and austerity, however, this is by no means a difficult wine. Rather, it will appeal to those who relish the sort of palpable, intense mineral character Champagne is capable of when made in such a straightforward fashion. Aged 3 years sur lattes.
